Lead and many other ingredients in older paints are toxic to adults, as well as children and animals. It is absolutely crucial to all health to contain all runoff and detritus from these sorts of jobs. This is something that the EPA takes very seriously, and we do even more so.
We take extra measures over the EPA and HUD requirements to ensure that people, pets, plants and property are all protected while we work, and into the future. Our dedication to full containment, dust free work practices , and complete capture will ensure this.
Our team will begin the process by establishing a fully contained and enclosed workspace, using heavy 6 mil plastic in multiple layers, and heavy duty tarping beneath plastic on the ground level, to prevent penetration or tears while working.
In our process, we use water, as well as HEPA Vacs attached to any sanding tools. Our focus is to maintain a completely dust free work environment, keeping your home pristine, occupants and visitors safe, and workers health protected. All water is captured, filtered, and properly processed off-site.
All waste, removed paint residuals, and rinse water is collected by high-powered HEPA Vacuum systems into our trailer-mounted capture tanks and removed for Hazmat processing. ALL of our captured rinse water is filtered of particulates, and processed through legal municipal facilities, after filtration down to 3 Microns.
